Description of Project:

50,000 light bulbs! That's how many light bulbs the Friends of Child Advocates asked John Murray Productions, Inc. to use to decorate the children's courthouse for LA County. John Murray designed and installed a semi permanent lighting system to help them achieve their fundraising goals. The organization raises money to support the volunteer case workers who see to it that kids are given good representation in the chaotic legal world of custody hearings and adoption proceeding. The Give the Light of Hope to a Child campaign raises fund by "selling" individual light bulbs to donors. There 50,000 kids entangled in LA County's dependency court system and each one of them is recognized by a light bulb on the building.
